Broncos receive utmost respect from NFL analyst in recent offseason grades

This offseason has been excellent for the Broncos, and I think most fans or media would agree with that for the most part. The free agency period was what kicked things off and gave fans a sense of optimism coming into the 2023 NFL Draft.
Then, while yes, they could have done better, they had a good draft. It wasn't great or outstanding, but it was good. They grabbed some guys that could help them this year, but they also stayed away from some needs that they still have. Then again, they didn't have much to work with as they had just five picks.
Overall, the offseason was good, but we know that as fans and media. The national media has yet to really give out praise to the Broncos, which is somewhat fair. They gave nothing but praise to the Broncos last offseason and that ended up blowing up in their face. But now, I think they really deserve it.
One NFL analyst ended up giving the Broncos some praise because they deserved it. He gave them one of the best grades he gave any team in the league.
Offseason Grade: A-
Denver’s biggest offseason move was hiring head coach Sean Payton to right the shipwreck that was the 2022 Broncos. The move actually cost Denver a first-round pick, so it can very fairly be viewed as part of their offseason process. Payton clearly focused heavily on the ground game, adding multiple veteran offensive linemen in free agency and spending heavily to do so. In the draft, Denver made solid picks given their situation. Marvin Mims has a chance to make an impact at receiver, but his arrival likely signals the impending departure of a wideout already on the roster. -Sam Monson, PFF
Giving the Broncos an A- is about what I would have given them, and he only gave six teams a higher grade. All of those six teams had better offseasons too. The only way I can think of the Broncos getting higher than an A- is if they would have addressed offensive line depth in the draft a bit more.
The right guard spot is currently manned by Quinn Meinerz, but there isn't really any depth behind him. Meinerz only has 13 games of starting experience, so they need a backup plan in that aspect as well. Instead of grabbing Mims with their first pick, they could have gone that route or even grabbed a defensive back there, and a right guard where they picked Riley Moss.
But overall they killed it. I think this rookie class will prove to be one that can produce and have an impact on the team. It feels good to have a national analyst give the Broncos some praise after a rough 2022 season.
