The Denver Broncos have moved quickly in free agency to replace the recently-released S Justin Simmons

According to Bleacher Report's Jordan Shultz, the Broncos intend to sign former Miami Dolphins S Brandon Jones to a three-year deal worth over $20M with $12.5M in total contract guarantees. The move comes with a loaded free agent market at the safety position, which the Broncos contributed to by releasing Simmons. Denver also recently re-signed P.J. Locke at the safety position.

A former third-round pick out of the University of Texas in the 2020 NFL draft, Jones is listed at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. He's played in 54 games with 30 career starts, amassing 238 total tackles, eight sacks, three interceptions and nine passes defended.
