The Denver Broncos got amazing news on Thursday from head coach Sean Payton that should make every fan very happy.

The Broncos were without one of their best players for most of last season, as we all know. Running back Javonte Williams tore several different ligaments in his leg. Now, he is looking like he could be ready for the start of the season after we initially heard different answers of there could be a chance he misses Week 1.

How do we know he could be ready? Because he was on the field on Thursday working out. He wasn't doing anything crazy, as he was listed as limited, but he was stretching, running, and doing other things that he can do within his rehab.

Sean Payton filled in everyone on exactly how Williams is doing.

"We do a medical report every night, we list the players as full limited or out," Payton told reporters on Thursday. "And so he's working in a limited capacity. We're being smart, obviously. And I said this to you before we were encouraged heading into this time of the season. So it's good to have him out here."

The Broncos signed Samaje Perine because of their offensive playstyle and the Williams injury. If Williams can start Week 1, I think the offense will be set. But, it's still something to monitor.
