It is no secret that the Denver Broncos' offensive line was awful last year, even with all of the money they spent last offseason. Sure, Russell Wilson had his moments where he ran out of the pocket when he didn't need to, but a lot of the sacks he took were because he didn't get much help up front.
Luckily, the Broncos have the draft to address some more of those issues. Now, they won't use every pick there because they have more than one issue on their roster, but they will use at least one on an offensive lineman, it feels like, anyway.
Before the draft gets here, though, the Broncos have already made one move to bolster their depth on the front end to help whoever the quarterback is that starts for them in 2024.
According to the team's Twitter account, the Broncos are signing former Carolina Panthers offensive guard Calvin Throckmorton.
Throckmorton has been in the league for three seasons and has been on three different teams. He has started 27 games in his career, so the experience is there for the Broncos. The only concern is he was a part of the putrid offensive like with the Panthers last season.
Only time will tell.
