Broncos' stud gives his teammates a hard time after he made the playoffs in just his second season

The Denver Broncos have had a long road to get to where they are right now. They were once Super Bowl champions, well three times, actually, but in 2015, they went all out to win one. And, they did, and they did it during Peyton Mannings' last season. But after that season, nothing good really followed.

Sure, they drafted some great players who have since turned into franchise guys or fan favorites. But no real success has come since then. They tasked John Elway with getting another franchise quarterback, and he failed miserably at that.

Now here they are — a playoff appearance, their first since the 2015 season, and a rookie quarterback who is up for the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. They have done everything right this year, besides a few losses that showed they are still learning how to win.

It's crazy to think about the road it took to get there for some of the players currently on the team. I mean, if you ask guys that have only been here one or two years, it's a bit different though.

Broncos' stud jokes with veteran teammates

"I was giving Court [WR Courtland Sutton] and Pat [CB Patrick Surtain II] some crap saying 'It only took me two years to make the playoffs I don't know what you guys have been doing,'" Moss said on Sunday after their win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Sutton has been on the Chiefs for seven years now and is just now about to play in his first-ever playoff game. He has seen a lot during his time with the Broncos, like playing with about 10 quarterbacks since 2018. And Surtain, he hasn't seen as much, but he went from winning at Alabama to immediately being on a bad team, and that can't feel good.

Now those two guys are going to the postseason, where they may be the two best players on their side of the ball. But, make no mistake about it — they are not taking this for granted. They will be playing the Buffalo Bills, a team that has been doing this whole postseason thing for a bit now.

Luckily for the Broncos, they play in one of the hardest divisions in the league, where the Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers are also in the postseason. They will be ready.
