The Denver Broncos have officially hit the reset button at least a few times. They have let go of some really good players, one of whom is safety Justin Simmons, one of the best players to play for them in the last eight years.
The Broncos let him go, saving some money and signed P.J. Locke to a good deal. Locke was the Broncos' backup at safety and played on special teams. He is now expected to be the starter. However, the Broncos' safety position is still a bit thin.
So, it's safe to say we could see Denver target the position in the draft. One guy they may try to go after is a speedy safety out of TCU.
According to Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report, the Denver Broncos hosted TCU safety Millard 'Nook' Bradford on a Top 30 visit. A top-30 visit essentially provides the team and the prospects with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the general manager, coaching staff, and even scouts.
Nook Bradford is A to Z Sports' 237th-ranked prospect in the draft and is predicted to be a late-seventh-round pick to an undrafted guy. However, if he is one of the Broncos' first top-30 visits, they may see something great in him. Now, only time will tell what they do.
