One of the Broncos' key playmakers has been struggling with injuries throughout his career, and now it seems he is again. He just can't catch a break.
Per Tom Pelissero, K.J. Hamler recently underwent surgery after suffering a partially torn pec while training on his own. The recovery timeline is four to six months, giving Hamler a chance to be ready right around the start of training camp in late July.
Hamler has played just 10 games the last two seasons, and just 23 in the last three seasons. He has missed over the half of the games he has been scheduled to play.
Hamler has a ton of talent and potential, but we may never get to see it pan out of he is always hurt. Let's just hope for a successful recovery.
