The Denver Broncos are making sure some of their players still have a good time this offseason, even though everyone is completely locked in to try and improve on last year and make the playoffs. If you have paid any attention to OTAs or mandatory minicamp, you know everyone is dialed in. So, why not take the load off?

A few players did just that, by participating in the UCHealth HR Derby Wednesday at Coors Field, where the Colorado Rockies play.

According to Mike Klis of Denver 9 News, the list of players for the Broncos that participated in the derby are wide receiver Courtland Sutton, defensive lineman Zach Allen, cornerback Pat Surtain II, defensive lineman Matt Henningsen, linebacker Jonathon Cooper, outside linebacker Baron Browning, running back Jaleel McLaughlin, punter Riley Dixon, and former Bronco Todd Davis.

At this home run derby, we witnessed some players hit some really good balls. A few people hit home runs. However, no one hit one further than Zach Allen, the Broncos defensive tackle entering his second season with the team.

Mike Klis also reported that Allen grew up wanting to play baseball, so, it makes sense he was out there hammering balls out of the park.

Allen is an absolute monster of a man, and I bet if he took some time to practice for a week or two, we could see him really hit some balls far. And hey, who knows, maybe the Rockies could use him.
