The 2023 NFL preseason is officially over for the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos will now look to assemble their first 53-man roster and 16-man practice squad under new head coach Sean Payton. They have some difficult decisions to make with the 53-man deadline bearing down on them on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at 4:00 p.m. ET.
It's important to note that the following players are already on injured reserve for Denver:
They'll be ineligible to be designated to return for the 2023 NFL season as a result.
Additionally, DL Eyioma Uwazurike is on the reserve/suspended list and OLB Baron Browning is on the active/PUP list. Uwazurike will not count toward the 53-man roster. Browning is expected to be placed on the reserve/PUP list during 53-man roster cuts.
