The Denver Broncos will have money to spend this offseason in free agency.

Bradley Locker of Pro Football Focus noted last month that Denver “can afford a big-time signing on offense”.

The Broncos could stand to add a premier wide receiver or running back (or both) in free agency.

One player that could be on Denver’s radar is playing in Super Bowl LX on Sunday.

Broncos named top free agent landing spot for Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III

Pro Football Focus named the Broncos as the top landing spot for Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III.

Walker, a former Wake Forest and Michigan State standout, rushed for 1,027 yards and five touchdowns in 2025. He also caught 31 passes for 282 yards.

“While J.K. Dobbins — also a free agent this spring — performed well while leading the Broncos’ backfield when healthy, a player like Walker could take it to the next level,” wrote PFF’s Mason Cameron. “His 93.9 PFF rushing grade since entering the NFL in 2022 ranks second, behind only Derrick Henry…What makes Walker such a good fit in Payton’s offense is his ability to perform no matter the scheme. Over his four NFL seasons, Walker has produced a 90.0-plus PFF rushing grade in both gap and zone concepts.”

It’s unclear how what kind of interest Walker will receive in free agency. There’s no doubt that he’s a dynamic player, but his strong 2025 season came after an up-and-down 2024 campaign (573 rushing yards, seven touchdowns, 46 receptions, 299 receiving yards in 11 games). Some teams may be hesitant to give Walker a multi-year deal.

The good news for Walker is that he’s been great in the playoffs (four touchdowns). A big performance in Super Bowl LX against the New England Patriots could help Walker get the payday he’ll be looking for in free agency.
