The Denver Broncos are reportedly hosting a player on a pre-draft visit who was responsible for arguably the play of the year in college football last season.

Indiana finished the 2025 season with a 16-0 record after defeating Miami in the national championship game.

The Hoosiers are the first team in the modern era to finish with a 16-0 record.

That 16-0 record, however, may not have happened if not for a miraculous catch in Indiana’s win over Penn State last November.

And the player responsible for that catch — wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr — is reportedly taking a pre-draft visit to Denver on Friday.

Cooper made an incredible catch, barely getting a toe down, to give Indiana the lead over Penn State with 36 seconds remaining in the game. To say it was gravity defying is an understatement.

Cooper is listed in most mock drafts as a late first round selection. The Broncos have the No. 30 overall pick.
