It's no secret that the Denver Broncos need to add some more playmakers to their roster in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Quarterback Bo Nix, who is entering his second season in the NFL, looks like he could be a longterm answer for the Broncos. But in order to thrive in Denver, Nix needs some more weapons around him.

That's why it's not a surprise that ESPN thinks Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan, one of the top wide receivers in the draft, would be a perfect fit for the Broncos in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

From ESPN: McMillan fits in Denver as a big slot target for quarterback Bo Nix. It'd be very similar to how coach Sean Payton used receiver Marques Colston in New Orleans. McMillan can stretch the seams, run the deep overs and create interior matchup advantages with his high-rising ability at the catch point and great ball skills. He's a long strider who is more smooth than fast. McMillan caught 174 passes over his final two seasons in Arizona, including 18 touchdowns.

McMillan is certainly a dynamic playmaker that would bring an explosive element to the Broncos' offense.

Denver could also target a running back in the first round of the draft (which is also a big need for the Broncos). But I like the idea of Denver selecting McMillan in the first round and then targeting a player like Tennessee Vols running back Dylan Sampson on day two of the draft (Sampson would also be a perfect fit for the Broncos).

The Broncos have the No. 20 pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, which means their draft plans will be largely shaped by what happens ahead of their selection on night one of the draft.
