The game went bad for so many reasons. The defense was on the field far too long and was tired by the end of the game, but listen to Josh McDaniels' post-game presser and that's exactly what they wanted to do.
The offense couldn't get a first down to save their life. They had 12 to the Raiders 25. The offense was called very poorly, and, not to mention, they gave the ball away too many times.
That last one was a big one and is probably the talk of the town right now. Melvin Gordon, the team's second running back, is the main talking point of a lot of conversations around Broncos country right now.
Including some former Broncos players.
Former Broncos player calls out fumbling problem
Some of you, hopefully, all of you, may remember Chris Harris Jr., the AFC West team hopper. You know, the guy that went to the Los Angeles Chargers after nine years in Denver. Yeah, that guy.
He had the bright idea of calling out a current Denver Broncos player after the loss to the Raiders.
This is what his tweet said.
"Idk How bruh got that 25 on he fumble every week."
While, yes, he is right. I'm sure this is the last guy Broncos fans want to hear from. Remember when he declined a deal from the Broncos to go play with the Chargers? If you are reading this, you probably do.
Yes, Gordon has to be better, especially when the starting running back is hurt, and the team can no longer depend on you because you have lost four fumbles in four weeks. Then, they are forced to rely on Mike Boone.
We will see changes, though, I'm sure.
