The Denver Broncos have had their fair share of quarterbacks since the end of the Peyton Manning era in Denver.

One of those was former first-round pick Paxton Lynch.

The Broncos selected Lynch with the 26th overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft. Lynch was a physical specimen from Memphis, looming at 6'7" and nearly 250 pounds.

Unfortunately, he never really got his feet under him Denver. He made just four starts for the Broncos before being released before the 2018 season.

He had a backup quarterback role in Seattle and Pittsburgh after those two seasons. After 2019, he moved on from the NFL.

After a break in 2020, Lynch spent time in both the CFL and USFL. He only lasted one season apiece in those respective leagues.

This year, Lynch got an opportunity to play for the Orlando Guardians in the XFL.

Unfortunately, his time with Orlando as their starter has ended as well. He was benched this past week.

Lynch became the only quarterback to ever be benched in all four leagues.

For the former Broncos QB, it's the worst type of history to make. His frustrating career in Denver has trickled into multiple leagues on the gridiron.
