Unfortunately, things don't get much easier for Sean Payton and the Broncos as they are about to compete against the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs led by superstar QB Patrick Mahomes.
It's been a long, long time since the Broncos proved victorious over Kansas City and fans are hoping that "any given Sunday" is in full force this upcoming weekend. With kickoff almost underway, here's everything you need to know.

3 players to watch for the Denver Broncos
- QB Russell Wilson: The franchise QB had struggled the week before against Kansas City, putting up only 95 yards through the air with two interceptions and a QBR of 10.3. He got back on the right track against the Packers but will need to have arguably his best game of the season if the Broncos want to upset Kansas City
- WR Jerry Jeudy: All eyes are going to be on Jeudy as he's been the center of trade rumors across the NFL. An unfortunate injury sidelined him for a portion of the game against the Packers, but he was able to return. If this is a dress rehearsal for other team's interest in the young WR, look for him to try and make a difference early and often.
- S Delarrin Turner-Yell: With Kareem Jackson being a repeat offender and the NFL throwing the book at him, it'll be Yell's turn to take a shot at supporting Justin Simmons in the backfield. What better test than facing arguably the best QB in the NFL?
