The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs are about to take the field under the bright lights of Thursday Night Football. Arrowhead Stadium is undoubtedly going to be rocking as they look to continue their dominance on the football field.

For the Denver Broncos, they are just looking for something to go their way. With a couple of brutal losses to start the season, injuries all over both sides of the field, and now rumors of an everything-must-go type fire sale, things aren't looking pretty.

While the Broncos have a relatively clean bill of health, they have an incredibly tough task ahead of them as their defense will look to try and shut down the high-powered offense that is Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce (among others, of course).

Here's a quick breakdown of the inactive players for this evening's game.

Broncos

  • S JL Skinner
  • TE Nate Adkins
  • OLB Frank Clark
  • OLB Thomas Incoom
  • C Alex Forsyth
  • DT D.J. Jones
  • DL Elijah Garcia

Chiefs

  • CB Nic Jones
  • DE BJ Thompson
  • OL Mike Caliendo
  • DT Neil Farrell
  • DT Keondre Coburn

Observations

The Denver Broncos defense is one of the league's worst while the Chiefs offense is one of the league's best. Honestly, we're just hoping they don't get embarrassed on national television.

Russell Wilson has been shutting down critics all season with his impressive play, it just hasn't resulted in much success in the win column. The team is going to need everything to go right in order to secure the win and more importantly Broncos country's faith in the organization.

All eyes are going to be on Denver. Whether it's a trainwreck or a triumph, it's going to make for some very interesting football. With a brutal loss, could the conversation start to turn to Sean Payton being on the hot seat?

Broncos country, please don't make us cry.
