Denver Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy ended last year as one of the hottest receivers in football.

While the entirety of the year didn't go as planned, and Jeudy admittedly struggled at times, the talented receiver finished his 2022 campaign by showing the league what he can really do.

Jeudy, in his last few games, finished with 562 yards from scrimmage on 40 touches with three touchdowns. Both Jeudy and Russell Wilson (and Sean Payton) are looking for him to pick up exactly where he left off.

Now, with Jeudy returning despite there being rumors of his departure from the organization, he has plans to make an immediate impact this year after getting more comfortable with his signal-caller.

One of the biggest impacts will be health coming into this season. Denver has one of the best receiving units in the NFL, they just can't seem to stay healthy. Courtland Sutton missed time in 2020, Jeudy was out for some of 2021, and Tim Patrick missed all of last year. Jeudy opened up to Denver Broncos' managing editor Ben Swanson on what will be different moving forward.

"We haven't been all on the same field in [how long], since my rookie year? So you know, it's been a tough few years. But having everybody on the field at the same time, it's going to be big, because I know what we're capable of, and they know what we're capable of. So having everybody on the same field is going to be a hard group of guys to stop."

Jeudy continued, gushing about his franchise quarterback and what makes Wilson different. The former Seahawks quarterback has come under fire for one of his worst seasons statistically, and overall just not being a great leader. It does feel as though Jeudy was teetering on playing damage control with his comments. The talented receiver was a vocal supporter of Wilson last year, despite the lackluster play, and that sentiment has continued coming into this season. Jeudy was direct on what makes Wilson different, and what he's looking for out of his quarterback this season.

"Just his mentality… Russ is a soldier. So just the way he handles his business, the way he handles situations, I just know the type of guy he is and the stuff that he can overcome. In the situations like that, that don't put no fear into a man's heart. And I know that this year, he got a big year coming ahead."

The Broncos faithful, along with Jeudy, are hoping for big things out of their franchise quarterback this season. Wilson will have all his weapons at his disposal along with vocal support from some of the leaders in the locker room.

Jeudy has done a good job hyping up what he hopes to accomplish this season and his thoughts on what Wilson is about to do. All eyes are going to be on Denver to see if they can pull it off.

If this season ends in disappointment, don't be surprised if there are some sweeping changes shortly after.
