The Denver Broncos aren't nearly living up to expectations this season.

Nathaniel Hackett is already on the hot seat in his first season as a head coach. It makes sense. The offense is wildly underperforming and his quarterback, Russell Wilson, looks to be at an all-time low in his career.

Nothing is going right.

So, when can fans expect the front office to cut ties with Hackett?

According to Peter King, an insider for NBC Sports, it would probably happen after the season.

He does not expect the Broncos to make the move during the season. It just makes the contract and replacement hiring process both just a bit more difficult.

King mentioned the possibility of the Broncos moving on during his Week 12 roundup.

4. I think I will not be surprised if Nathaniel Hackett makes it to the end of this season as Denver coach. But I will be extremely surprised if he isn’t one-and-done.

No one should be surprised if the Broncos move on after just one season. It has been a disaster for Hackett and the team, and expectations are not going away anytime soon.

The Broncos' defense is way too talented to be pulled down by such a horrendous offense.

Hackett just does not seem fit for the role in Denver.

The move may not come when fans want it, but it sounds like an early exit for Hackett after the season is definitely on the table for there Broncos.
