The Denver Broncos got a necessary win today against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Once again, a notable rookie on offense stepped up when they needed a big play.
Quarterback Russell Wilson knew immediately that they had a special player in tight end Greg Dulcich. He is proving Wilson and the Broncos right so far.
For a veteran like Wilson to describe Dulcich like this, it's meaningful.
He had plenty of hype during training camp. An injury has kept him off the field for much of the early season, but his impact is undeniable now.
Wilson trusts him as much as any other pass catcher for the Broncos already. That's clear when you watch the offense play, too.
Broncos' HC Nathaniel Hackett showed some love for his young tight end after the win in London as well.
For Denver, they need to keep getting the rookie involved heavily.
A pass catching trio of Dulcich, Jerry Jeudy, and Courtland Sutton could be special. They each provide a unique and impressive skillset.
Dulcich is making plays and deserves to be rewarded.
Keep an eye on the TE for the rest of the season as the Broncos try to get back into playoff contention.
The front office still believes in Hackett and Wilson as the leaders of the offense. Those two believe that Dulcich will be special for years to come in Denver.
