Things have taken a big turn in a different direction for the Denver Broncos over the last day.

A decision was made that Russell Wilson will no longer lead the team over the last couple of weeks and it’s been signaled that the franchise is going in a different direction.

With that being said, it appears that Wilson himself has broken silence on the recent happenings. The no longer QB1 took his thoughts to X.

Certainly, you can’t prove that Wilson is talking about football since it is a Post on X after all but this is no coincidence. The veteran quarterback looks ready to move on from the Mile High City, a place he no longer has the keys to leading.

Wilson has thrown for 42 touchdowns to 19 interceptions over the last two seasons with the Broncos. This season, his stats are good but the offense has been spitting. Despite the 26 touchdown passes to just eight interceptions, the Broncos are a team that isn’t an offensive threat to make the playoffs.

It won’t be until the off-season when the Broncos move on from Wilson but it’s fair to already wonder where he will end up next. The former Wisconsin Badger will be entering his 13th season in the NFL next year.

Broncos Country shouldn’t be too up in arms about his comments signaling that he’s given up there when the team has given up on him.
