The Denver Broncos had another embarrassing performance on Sunday.
At the helm, the offense was the opposite of on full display. They did not move the ball effectively, especially through the air.
Quarterback Russell Wilson continues to struggle mightily, and it doesn't seem like it will get better for the Broncos this season. They are firmly in the basement of the AFC West now.
Denver is projected to have a top five selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, but that will go to Seattle.
Russell Wilson is costing the broncos in more ways than one, and opposing players are starting to mock him just a bit.
After a sack, Panthers' edge rusher Brian Burns had a unique celebration that imitated a viral video of Wilson during a pregame session from earlier this season.
The celebration really just adds insult to injury for the Broncos and their fans. There is frustration throughout the locker room and the fan base.
Many folks expected this team to be a playoff contender. The front office certainly did with the arrival of Wilson and head coach Nathaniel Hackett.
Both have been massive disappointments.
