We don't know about you, but we're so damn excited to get Detroit Lions football back this Sunday night. The offseason always feels like it lasts an entire year.

Now that we're back to football, it's time to take a look at this Lions team and think about all that we know and give the five boldest and spiciest predictions that we truly believe could come true. Let's get to it.

Marcus Davenport stays healthy and has Pro Bowl season

Kimberly P. Mitchell / USA TODAY NETWORK

There’s no getting around it, Marcus Davenport has had a bad history with injuries. He’s never played a full season in his career. The thing about that is there’s this assumption that because he has an injury history, he’s not a good player. That’s not it. Davenport is actually pretty good when he’s able to be on the field.

That's why the bold prediction here is that Davenport stays healthy for the first time in his career and he nets 14 sacks en route to his first trip to the Pro Bowl and maybe even gets included in the Comeback Player of the Year conversation.

Jake Bates breaks Justin Tucker’s distance record

If we were labeling the spiciness of all these predictions based off Taco Bell sauces, this would be hot and the rest would be fire or diablo. It’s not that crazy to think Bates could actually do this. It just depends on if the Lions would actually put him out there to try it since they’re such a “go for it” team.

The NFL record is 66-yards set by Justin Tucker at Ford Field. Try not to think about that one. Bates kicked a 64-yarder in Ford Field this Spring and it looked like it could have gone for more. Could a 67-yarder be kicked this year? We'll see.

Sione Vaki crashes fantasy football servers when everyone tries to pick up up after a huge game

This is a diablo take, but we think this kid is about to be someone fantasy owners will be picking up soon after the Lions use him way more than anyone thought they would. We think he’ll be out there running the ball and be a big part of the passing game as well since the Lions receiving corps still needs a bit more defining.

Vaki may not be a starter on fantasy teams, but he's going to be a guy that people want on their bench in case someone gets hurt or they need him for a bye week.

Amik Robertson goes off and proves to be the Lions biggest offseason signing

To say we’re impressed with what we saw from Robertson this summer, and in the preseason, would be an understatement. He’s more than earned the starting nickel spot and you just can’t look at this guy on the field and not think that he’s about to have a big breakout season. The prediction here is that Robertson leads the Lions in interceptions and just looks like a shut down guy out there.

Jared Goff makes first All-Pro team and wins league MVP

Junfu Han / USA TODAY NETWORK

I told you we were getting diablo hot with some of these. This is the hottest of them all, but also doesn’t seem that crazy. Goff has been in the top five of every positive passing category there is for the last two seasons, is it wild to think he moves up the list? Plus, the MVP just usually seems to go to the team with the number one seed and we’ve already predicted that the Lions get that.

It's not at all crazy to think this could happen, but it's still spicy.
