Happy Thanksgiving, Detroit Lions fans. You’re getting your center back.

All-Pro center Frank Ragnow is coming out of retirement

It all started with The Lions putting out a tweet that shows Ragnow coming out of the tunnel at Ford Field. Then the reports from NFL insiders started dropping that Ragnow is indeed coming out of retirement to re-join the Lions for the rest of the season. This is huge for the Lions. Like, season changing huge.

This is also a big turn of events. Lions head coach Dan Campbell was asked if there was any chance Ragnow would come out of retirement a month ago, and he said he believed that ship had sailed. Now, here we are. He’s back. As for whether or not he’ll play on Thanksgiving, I wouldn’t expect that just yet with no practice. The reports are that he’s in good shape, though.
