It just keeps looking worse for the Detroit Lions. They elevated Quinton Bohanna three games in a row and started him for two games. He played pretty well during that time. The expectation was that they would add him to the 53 man roster before their game against the Bears. They did not do that. Now Bohanna is gone.

The Tennessee Titans have signed him off the Lions practice squad and now the Lions defensive line that was, already going through some problems with Alim McNeiell, is going through more problems now that they have lost Bohanna a game after that sat him and really struggled on their defensive line.

The Lions did make a corresponding move on Wednesday. They signed undrafted rookie Chris Smith to their practice squad. The Lions  did add Tyson Alualu last week and they may feel pretty good about him. If he's not what they thought they were getting, this Bohanna story is only going to keep looking worse.

We'll see how Bohanna does in Tennessee. At least he's back home where he grew up. Maybe there could be a Detroit reunion down the road.
