The Detroit Lions could use some help along their offensive line right now, and there’s no doubt about it. There’s been quite a lapse from where they were at this time last year. The expectation is that the Lions will stand pat with what they’ve got, but they are looking around at the trade deadline, according to Lions head coach Dan Campbell. There is one other thing that people are wondering about right now…

Could Frank Ragnow come out of retirement to help the Lions one more time?

Well, we got somewhat of an answer on that from Campbell, and for those who were hoping for a miracle, you’re not going to like it.

“Here’s what I know about Frank,” Campbell said on Tuesday morning during his weekly interview with 97.1 The Ticket. “If Frank really wanted to, he would be blowing my phone up, and I haven’t gotten a text yet. So I think Frank is feeling good about his decision and look, they just had another baby, so happy for them, and that ship has sailed.”

There you go. If you were hoping for Ragnow to come back one more time, it’s not happening. Campbell also said there are no plans to replace Graham Glasgow as the center with Tate Ratledge at this time. So right now, it’s just wait and see what happens at the deadline and go from there.
