The Detroit Lions had a big scare on Monday when newly signed safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson went down with a leg injury and had to be carted off the field. It turned out that the Lions dodged a big bullet when Gardner-Johnson's MRI showed no structural damage. On Tuesday we learned for Lions head coach Dan Campbell that it's not a big problem at all.

"It appears to be that, you know, he's gonna be okay." Campbell said. "You know, it doesn't, it doesn't appear to be anything serious. So, you know, we'll, we'll see. The images look pretty good. You know, he may be out a day or two, but that seems to be, seems to be okay"

Wow! From doom and gloom yesterday afternoon to the possibility that he may just be back later this week. What a roller coaster ride that training camp has been already for the Lions.

In other injury news, Jameson Williams will also miss a couple of days with a leg injury.

"Yeah, he's got a little something with his leg. So he probably won't go for a day or two here either. I don't think it's significant. But it's enough to where he's not going to practice."

We're still waiting for updates on Emmanuel Moseley and Marvin Jones. Moseley was added to the PUP list and Jones went on the NFI list. Both can come off at any time. We'll keep you abreast of the news on those guys as it comes in.
