We haven't seen Detroit Lions' rookie Jahmyr Gibbs in a couple weeks after he injured his hamstring late in the week ahead of the teams matchup with the Panthers. With David Montgomery missing for the foreseeable future, the Lions need him to be a go. The good news is that he will be.

"He looks good." Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell said Friday. "yep, I think he's he's gonna be a go. he looked pretty good yesterday."

That is just the news that this team needed for Sunday with Montgomery out and Craig Reynolds showing up on the injury report. How much will we see of Gibbs on Sunday though? After all, the Lions do like to take it easy with players returning from injury. That doesn't look like it will be the case this week though.

"Yeah, I think you know, certainly I think he's gonna need to take the load of it. We're just gonna have to see where he's at. You know? I'd like to say we want to be careful with him but the reality of it is we need him. So we'll go as far as he can take us here, trying to be as smart as we can but he's got to go. And he's ready."

This will be a big test of the rookie. Not only will he take the brunt of the workload, but he's going to have to do it against a Ravens defense that's one of the top 10 in the league at stopping the run. How will he play? We'll see on Sunday.
