The Detroit Lions lost starting left guard Jonah Jackson to the Rams last week and there's been a lot of thought that they would go out and find a veteran to fill that spot in free agency. They definitely found a suitable replacement in Pro Bowler Kevin Zeitler.
Zeitler is one of the best guards in the NFL and has been for quite a while now. He's coming off a Pro Bowl season with the Ravens in which he allowed just 19 pressures all season long. While the signing is not official yet, here's two things this signing will mean for the future when it is done:
The first is that Graham Glasgow is going to have to move from the right side to the left side. Zeitler has never played left guard before, but Glasgow has and he's done it pretty well.
