The Detroit Lions lost their top defensive player Aidan Hutchinson on Sunday and now all anyone wants to talk about is when are the Lions going to trade for someone an who could that someone be?
On Monday Lions head coach Dan Campbell said the Lions aren't in a hurry to find someone at the moment, but that they were looking. Then something happened on the Pat McAfee show later in the day that made it look like the Lions might be moving faster than they're letting on.
NFL Insider Adam Schefter went on the show and was talking about some of the biggest trade stories in the NFL right now and then he suddenly got a phone call and his screen went blurry. Schefter came back on and McAfee asked if that was Detroit. Schefter said it wasn't. Then McAfee asked if it was a team calling about Detroit and Schefter's face lit up. Check out the video.
Makes you think right? It certainly seems like the Lions are out there looking and that team's are discussing what they're willing to give up. We'll see what happens soon enough. The NFL trade deadline is in just a few weeks. If the Lions are going to make a deal, it's going to be in the next 20 days.
