Steelers receiver DK Metcalf punches Lions fan at Ford Field
The Steelers’ wide receiver was caught on film during an altercation with a fan at Ford Field.
Well, I don’t think anyone expected this to happen. During the second quarter of the Detroit Lions’ matchup with the Steelers, Pittsburgh receiver DK Metcalf had some sort of bad interaction with a Lions fan that resulted in Metcalf punching a fan.
There’s no word on what happened with the fan, but you can’t punch fans no matter what they say. Metcalf is not only expected to face a fine, but he could also face a big suspension.
If Brian Branch got a game for punching a fellow player, Metcalf might be done for the season for punching a fan. As for the game, because officials didn’t see it happen, they did not weigh in on it. We’ll update you as soon as we know more.
