The Detroit Lions lost a lot of coaches during the offseason and they have gone on to put together and brand new staff. Here is the full group including some new hires not already announced and some movement in positions:

The big change up front is that the Lions are moving assistant head coach Scottie Montgomery from running backs to receivers to make a spot for Tashard Choice to take over. This is going to help the run game, even more, to have two guys like Montgomery and Choice in the building. Montgomery can also see that the Lions' receivers continue to block really well. 

Seth Ryan has moved from assistant receivers coach to assistant tight ends coach.

There's not a whole lot of change going on for the defense. Most of the staff remains intact. Shepperd and Hamilton both got promoted and Rodgers is in as the defensive line coach. We're waiting to see who will be hired for the assistant defensive line coach job and the assistant linebackers coach job.
