What are the Chicago Bears going to do with quarterback Justin Fields this offseason?
Are they going to trade the former first-round draft pick and then select USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the first overall pick?
Or are they going to commit to Fields longterm and trade the first overall pick?
That's the biggest question facing the Bears this offseason. But it's a question that ESPN's Kimberly Martin claims everyone in the NFL knows the answer to.
"Everybody in the NFL expects Justin Fields to be somewhere else," said Martin during an appearance on Get Up on Tuesday. "And there's a reason. So those (trade) conversations will happen. The sooner it happens the better. Not just for potentially Pittsburgh or Atlanta, or the other teams, to know what they have before the draft, [but] it just makes sense for Justin, too."
"I understand the meaning behind all of this," added ESPN's Mike Greenberg. "This deal's getting done in the next week."
It certainly feels inevitable at this point that Fields is on his way out of Chicago. And it seems like a new era featuring Caleb Williams under center will be getting underway this fall for the Bears.
