It just makes too much sense for Travis Kelce to return for one more season.

Following the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl LIX loss, Kelce admitted that he was going to take some time to contemplate retirement.

But based on what's been said at the 2025 NFL scouting combine, all signs point to him coming back. And if he does, it would mark his 13th season in the league.

For Swifties, that number will certainly result in a smile because it's the singer's favorite number.

"I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No. 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I’ve won an award I’ve been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter," Swift said around the time of her Fearless Tour (2009-2010). "Basically whenever a 13 comes up in my life, it’s a good thing."

Even Kelce knows how important this number is and had some fun with it when his relationship with Taylor Swift first began.

“13 + 87… I’m just saying it works,” the Chiefs tight end with a smile during a New Heights podcast episode.

So, at this point, he has to return to the field for one more season.
