The final practice has come and gone as the Buffalo Bills are gearing up for a Week 14 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Ahead of practice, head coach Sean McDermott had already ruled out defensive end Joey Bosa and linebacker Terrel Bernard. While he hasn’t been ruled out, wide receiver Josh Palmer has been listed as doubtful.

With the final practice finished, the team released their final injury report with a handful of names progressing in the right direction. Tight end Dalton Kincaid remains questionable after being limited in practice all week, which is the most troubling update of them all.

It cannot be overstated how important it would be to have Kincaid back on the field. He’s often been injured, and getting back his production with Allen will be a huge boost for the team. Kincaid, when healthy, is one of the best tight ends in all of football and Allen’s No. 1 target.

Dalton Kincaid has been a major difference-maker for the Bills’ offense in 2025

Based on Sumer Sports AI, the data suggests Kincaid has been a significant factor in the Bills’ offensive success in 2025, with the offense performing substantially better when he’s available to play. In eight games with Kincaid, the team has an EPA per play of 0.170, a success rate of 48.7% in 513 total plays. In four games without, the EPA per play drops down to 0.018, and the success rate the team has drops to 43.7% compared to the 247 total plays Kincaid has been out. That’s a major drop from first to 14th in EPA/play and from third to 17th in success rate.

What’s more, the Bills’ EPA per play is nearly 9.4 times higher with Kincaid in the lineup, and the success rate improves five percentage points when Kincaid is active. The only issue has been keeping him on the field as he’s missed a third of the team’s games.

It wasn’t all bad news coming out of McDermott’s interview, though, as the head coach also said that offensive tackle Dion Dawkins has cleared the concussion protocol and defensive end A.J. Epenesa should be good to go after popping up on the injury report Thursday.

Another name to watch out for is Spencer Brown. McDermott said that his status remains in the air, and the final injury report has him as questionable for the contest. Buffalo’s backups played extremely well in the game against Pittsburgh, but you’d always like for your main guy to be back.

While the injury report had a handful of names to start the week, Friday came and went with a positive update that only a few players will have a questionable status heading into Week 14. Getting back Epenesa after a scary injury is another big boost, though it’ll be difficult to replicate the production that Bosa has given the team throughout the season.

All that’s left to do now is wait until kickoff. The final injury report was a mixed bag of both good and bad news as Buffalo will once again lean on its depth in a crucial matchup against the Bengals. It’s a must-win scenario for Buffalo, which is hoping to sneak into the playoffs with a late-season push.

Still, the Bills have been here before. Injuries or not, this team has found ways to maintain its position in the AFC. Sunday is another opportunity to show the world that they may be down, but they’re not out. The depth will be tested again, but even getting a partial boost from returning starters could make all the difference in a game with massive playoff implications.
