Last mock drafts of the year + final 2025 prospect rankings
We’ve finally made it. The 2025 NFL Draft begins tonight live from historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. If you’re slacking this year, there’s still a few hours left to cram information on college prospects and what spots teams will be selecting from. Let’s take a look at some of our final mock drafts of the year. Underrated RB and WR prospects
Travis May’s final 3-round mock highlights
No. 1) Tennessee Titans select QB Cam Ward: "The betting markets have Cam Ward listed with a 99.5% probability to be the first overall pick to the Tennessee Titans and that's still not quite high enough. It's happening. Sharpie. Ward went from completely unknown Wing T QB in high school to first overall and it's one of the best stories in the entire 2025 NFL Draft. He flashed immediately in his first two years at Incarnate Word, struggled with inconsistency at Washington State, but then put it all together at Miami. Davey O'Brien Award winner. ACC Player of the Year. First-Team All-American. The Titans get a good one here."
No. 9) New Orleans Saints select QB Jaxson Dart: “Jaxson Dart going inside the Top 10 picks of the 2025 NFL Draft would shock much of the sports world considering most of the discourse surrounding him this spring, but it makes a ton of sense. A to Z Sports has learned that he is likely one of two top options at quarterback in this class for the Saints, with Tyler Shough living somewhere in the mix as well. Dart may end up on the Saints via a trade back or trade up into the first round. However it works out, Dart is the perfect fit for new head coach Kellen Moore. He's got the mobility, quick release, creativity, and deep passing game skills that Moore has grown to love working with in the NFL.”
No. 13) Miami Dolphins select CB Will Johnson: “If Kelvin Banks Jr. falls to this spot or a scout in the war room bangs the table for Josh Simmons then the Dolphins might go offensive line. Otherwise, they're almost certainly going defensive back. They need help at possibly both safety spots and outside corner. Getting the best natural outside cornerback in the class here is the easy pick. Forget the worries about long speed. He's a shutdown corner whose career passer rating when targeted is below 50."
No. 19) Tampa Bay Buccaneers select LB Jihaad Cambell: “Multiple sources have shared with A to Z Sports that if Jihaad Campbell falls to 19 that he will indeed be the pick. He could go earlier, perhaps at 15 to the Falcons, but if he makes it here the Buccaneers will be selecting him to become their heir to Lavonte David. What's nice about Campbell is that he also brings impressive pass rushing chops too. He's not the right size to fit into Tampa Bay's true defensive end role, but he would bring some speed in spicy pass rush packages."

No. 5) Jacksonville Jaguars select RB Ashton Jeanty: “The common selection for the Jaguars is Mason Graham, but I am much lower on him than the consensus. New general manager James Gladstone goes in a different direction by taking the top skill player in Jeanty, who has a similar profile to Hall of Fame running back LaDanian Tomlinson."
No. 12) Dallas Cowboys select WR Tetairoa McMillan: “The Cowboys need to find a way to get weapons for Dak Prescott to throw to. They have CeeDee Lamb, but nobody else. McMillan is a surprisingly good YAC threat and will give Prescott a big body to target on all three levels of the field."
No. 21) Pittsburgh Steelers select QB Shedeur Sanders: “Getting who I believe is the top quarterback in this class at 21st overall is an absolute steal. While he may not have any elite athletic traits, Sanders does have elite accuracy and ball placement and works very well within structure. Those will automatically translate to the NFL."
No. 32) Philadelphia Eagles select EDGE Nic Scourton: “The Eagles take the best trench player available and they get one at their biggest position of need at edge rusher. Scourton can bend the arc with the strength profile to hold up at the point of attack."

No. 3) New York Giants select EDGE Abdul Carter: “If the Giants take a quarterback, I do not think it will be with the third pick. With that, they grab the top pass rusher and potentially top overall prospect in this entire draft class."
No. 11) San Francisco 49ers select DT Mason Graham: “This nice slide for Graham, compared to earlier projections, ends in San Fran. Think the 49ers would love to add him to a defensive line that was torn to shreds in free agency."
No. 20) Denver Broncos select RB Omarion Hampton: “Getting a read on Sean Payton is nearly impossible. The being said, I know how frustrated he was by the RB situation and lack of a running game for his offense last season. Hampton solves that as a bruiser who can withstand plenty of workload."
No. 31) Kansas City Chiefs select OT Josh Conerly: “After watching the Super Bowl, I almost refuse to give KC anyone except an offensive lineman. It's so hard to process overlooking that spot. Conerly is rock solid and gives Patrick Mahomes a young, new protection piece."

Ryan Roberts’ latest draft intel
Final quarterback feedback: “The hot take I’ll present on you is that I am not buying a third quarterback goes in the first round. There have been a lot of conversations around Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss) and Jalen Milroe (Alabama), and while there is intrigue for both, I’m not sold that it’s enough for a team to trade up for in the first round like it has been discussed. From conversations I’ve had, I’m most confident that Ward and Sanders end up being the only two Round One quarterbacks, and a solid trade market can begin at the top of the second round for one of those two."
The Jihaad Campbell fall: “Unfortunately in this process, medicals and off the field concerns can quickly alter the outlook for prospects. Most have seen the news about shoulder surgery for Campbell, which was a tough blow for Campbell. Despite that news, teams have still been willing to pull the trigger early. As more medicals have come back, things have gotten murkier. According to a source, both shoulders have raised some worry. Campbell also has a knee issue, which some teams are worried about the long term implications."
Going higher than people realize: “Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston has been featured pretty regularly in first round mock drafts, especially after he blazed the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine with his 4.28-second forty-yard dash time. Most have projected him to come off of the board at the very end of the round, if not early in the second. Those projections could end up being way too low. There is some belief that Hairston could up being selection within the top 20 overall picks, and there is an NFC South team that loves him in particular."

Destin lists his top 150 overall prospects, and ranks the top 20 by each position.
Best pro player comps for RB, WR prospects

Running backs
Ashton Jeanty – If Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram did the Fusion Dance: “Jeanty is such a difficult player to find a comparison for considering he just doesn’t have a ton of weaknesses. As a runner, there are some parallels to Ingram. He runs with tremendous contact balance, physicality, and low center of gravity. As a pass game weapon, Jeanty is a lot closer to Kamara than Ingram. Jeanty is an all around weapon who does most things very well."
Omarion Hampton – Corey Dillon: “Hampton is a good overall athlete but make no mistake about it, he wants to get downhill and run through people. He excels through contact, like Dillon did. There is a lack of patience at times with Hampton, but he is a joy to watch run the football."
TreVeyon Henderson – More physical Raheem Mostert: “You are drafting Henderson to create some big plays, but you are staying for his ability as a pass blocker. That is such a unique profile that makes Henderson very valuable. Henderson brings a lot of value."
D.J. Giddens – Todd Gurley: “This comparison isn’t necessarily a predictor of success. Giddens’ play style is just so similar to Gurley’s. He runs with great pace, tremendous vision, and possesses outstanding explosiveness and short area quickness despite a leggy running style."
Wide receivers
Tetairoa McMillan – Tee Higgins: "The biggest mismatch ability that McMillan brings to the table is his sheer size and catch radius. He’s one of those players who is never fully covered with how far he can extend outside of his frame. While his play strength isn’t quite as good as Higgins, the way they win, and their body types are."
Luther Burden III – Golden Tate: “Burden, like Tate, operated best out of the slot where his talents after the catch really shines. They are both very strong athletes that can break a ton of tackles. For a shorter wide receiver, Burden also makes some surprising adjustments at the catch point."
Matthew Golden – Doug Baldwin: "Some will look at Golden’s forty-yard dash time of 4.29 seconds and assume he’s this stellar downfield threat. In reality, Golden wins with more nuance and tremendous body control. His game is very similar to Baldwin, who was a very underrated player for the Seattle Seahawks under head coach Pete Carroll."
Emeka Egbuka – JuJu Smith-Schuster: "Egbuka is more explosive than Smith-Schuster but the ways they win are very similar. You are going to see Egbuka operate as a high level out of the slot with his combination of intelligence and physicality. He is also a better player after the coach than you would anticipate."
