The New York Giants made a major move on Monday. They took defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson off the PUP list today, so he will be back at practice with the team. The Giants signed him earlier this offseason as a veteran defender.

He will travel with the team to Detroit for joint practices with the Lions, according to Mike Garafolo. The Giants also activated offensive lineman Marcus McKethan, and he will do the same. Robinson is a big piece for the defense and its depth in New York.

Robinson slots in as the second interior defensive lineman on the depth chart behind Dexter Lawrence. Those two, alongside edge rushers Kayvon Thibodeaux and Leonard Williams, creates an elite-level DL for the Giants. It was a solid unit last season, but it is easy to project it to be even better this year if they stay healthy.
