The Las Vegas Raiders are in a situation where they need to figure out who their head coach will be in 2024. They also need to find a new general manager. But, as far as the coaching staff, changes will be made.

Even if they brought back Antonio Pierce, we knew the team would likely need to find a new offensive coordinator. Now, it's clear there is another position on the coaching staff they will need to bring in, even if Pierce is brought back. The Raiders have already requested to interview several candidates for both jobs. Here is a tracker for the coaching staff job:

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the New York Giants are hiring former Raiders offensive line coach Carmen Bricillo for the same position on their team.

Now, the Raiders will need to find a new offensive line coach, one that was as good as Bricillo. This also tells me that maybe Bricillo didn't want to wait and see if Pierce was going to be brought back or if Harbaugh was going to come in and clean house and then leave Bricillo looking for a job when there weren't a ton of opportunities left.

Bricillo was a huge reason the Raiders had the best running back in the league last season. He was a huge reason the pass blocking was as good as it was this year. He will do great in New York.

Could Antonio Pierce soon follow?

The New York Giants are very interested in Antonio Pierce, the Las Vegas Raiders interim head coach, for their defensive coordinator position. That is if they do not bring back the defensive coordinator from last year, Wink Martindale.

If the Raiders do not make their move on Pierce, he could become a defensive coordinator for the team he won a Super Bowl for. According to Hondo Carpenter, an insider for Sports Illustrated, the Giants are super interested in Pierce, as are the Tennessee Titans in adding him as their head coach.
