The New York Giants are dealing with an injury to their starting quarterback. QB Daniel Jones missed Week 6 with a neck injury. Tyrod Taylor started and found some success with the offense.
It's looking more and more likely that the Giants don't believe that Jones will return soon. That belief is based on their latest workouts. New York worked out two Tveterans QBs on Monday in Matt Barkley and Ian Book.
That decision may point to Jones being out an extended time, so the Giants would want experienced depth at the position.
Daniel Jones told the broadcast on Monday night that he 'was feeling some discomfort in his left side and shoulder.' It's clear that the Giants starter is not comfortable right now.
As of Monday afternoon, the Giants have not signed another QB quite yet, though. It will be intriguing to watch if they do or not in the coming days.
