This is NFL Scouting Combine week, so most eyes around the NFL world will be in Indianapolis over the next few days — not only to take a look at top prospects, but also to discuss the majority of impactful topics in football leading up to the new league year in March.

For the Green Bay Packers, it all starts on Tuesday, with general manager Brian Gutekunst talking to the media for the second time this offseason.

Tuesday, Feb. 24

General manager Brian Gutekunst is slated to have a press conference with national media on Tuesday at 12:45 p.m (CT). It’s the second time he will talk to the media after the season — and this one, specifically talking about the future and less about what happened last year. Usually, Gutekunst also has prior availability to media members from Green Bay. At least so far, there isn’t any scheduled availability for head coach Matt LaFleur.

Thursday, Feb. 26

This is a big day for the Packers with drills and work for defensive linemen — it applies for both interior defensive linemen and edge defenders, because linebackers are included here as well. These players will do on-field workouts on NFL Network at 7 p.m. (CT), but the entire event starts at 2 p.m. (CT).

Friday, Feb. 27

Another big day based on the Packers needs. Defensive backs have workouts on Friday, so general manager Brian Gutekunst and his crew will be closely watching cornerbacks — or at least that’s what Packers fans hope for.

Saturday, Feb. 28

Quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs do work on Saturday, so it’s not a big day for Green Bay. However, there is a realistic possibility that the Packers will take a Day 3 developmental quarterback or even some depth running back, considering that both Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks are set to become restricted free agents.

Sunday, March 1

From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, Gutekunst will have a huge opportunity to watch offensive linemen on the field. With left tackle Rasheed Walker and center Sean Rhyan set to hit free agency, o-linemen are in the priority list for the Packers — and Gutekunst hasn’t shied away from getting multiple players at the position in the same class several times during his tenure as a GM.
