The Green Bay Packers offense may have a huge boost against the Denver Broncos next Sunday. Starting running back Aaron Jones practiced on Monday, one week after missing the game versus the Las Vegas Raiders in Nevada.

It's still unclear if Jones will be available, because he practiced on a limited basis throughout the entire preparation before the Raiders game, but missed it anyway.

Aaron Jones injured his hamstring in week 1, during the Packers win over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. Since then, he missed back-to-back games against the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.

Jones played on a pitch count against the Lions in week 4, but he had just six touches — five carries for 18 yards and one receptions for -4 yards. Against the Raiders, he was expected to have a higher usage, but ended up not playing.

If Aaron Jones is able to play on Sunday, the Packers will probably have their full offensive personnel available — not considering left tackle David Bakhtiari, who's out for the season.

Safety reinforcements

The Packers Monday practice brought other two positive pieces of information. Safeties Darnell Savage and Zayne Anderson were back too.

Savage injured his calf during the Raiders game, but isn't expected to miss much time if at all. Anderson hasn't played for the Packers yet, as he's recovering from a hamstring injury.

On the other hand, off-ball linebackers De'Vondre Campbell (ankle) and Quay Walker (knee) were with the rehab group.

The Packers don't need to release injury reports before Wednesday.
