The entire NFL world is waiting on pins and needles to find out what Aaron Rodgers will do in 2022?
Will Rodgers decide to return to the Green Bay Packers, where he's spent his entire career?
Or will Rodgers force a trade? Possibly to the Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans, or Pittsburgh Steelers?
No one knows what Rodgers is going to do. And any "news" out there right now is really just speculation.
Ultimately, Rodgers has to decide what his goal is in 2022. Is it to simply get a fresh start somewhere else? Is it to get paid as much money as possible? Or is it to make another run at a Super Bowl?
If it's the latter, then there's really only one answer for the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

If winning is all that matters, then Aaron Rodgers needs to return to the Green Bay Packers
If Rodgers truly cares about winning above all else, then his only answer is to return to Green Bay.
The feeling over the last couple of weeks has been that the Broncos are the most likely option for Rodgers if he chooses to leave Green Bay.
Landing Rodgers would instantly make Denver one of the favorites in the AFC. And winning a Super Bowl with the Broncos would definitely be possible for Rodgers.
But getting to the Super Bowl with Denver would be a lot more difficult than it would be with the Packers.
If Rodgers lands with the Broncos, it would put him in a division that's been dominated by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. It would also put him in a division with rising superstar Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Hebert, as well as the not-quite-as-scary-but-still-good Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr.
That's a tough division. In fact, it would probably be the toughest division in the NFL in 2022. If Rodgers and the Broncos made the playoffs, potential matchups with Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals and Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills would potentially await (as well as possible matchups with the always-solid Titans and Baltimore Ravens/Steelers).
Staying in the NFC North and competing against the Chicago Bears/Justin Fields, the Minnesota Vikings/Kirk Cousins, and the Detroit Lions/Jared Goff is a much easier path to the Super Bowl. Not to mention that the NFC is Tom Brady-less (for now).
On top of the easier path to the Super Bowl, there's also the Davante Adams angle. Rodgers and Adams want to continue playing together. And the most likely scenario for that to happen is in Green Bay (a Rodgers extension could provide some cap relief for the Packers).
When it's all said and done, I think Rodgers will be a Packer in 2022. I think he knows that staying in Green Bay is his best chance at winning another Super Bowl. But I also think he likes all the attention he's been receiving this offseason as the entire sports world hangs on every piece of Rodgers-related news.
This should be all squared away in the next few days. But then again, you never know when it comes to Aaron Rodgers.
