The Green Bay Packers are the betting favorites to land an elite wide receiver this offseason.
According to BetOnline, the Packers have the best odds to add DeAndre Hopkins to their roster.
Green Bay is 3/1 to land Hopkins according to BetOnline. The Kansas City Chiefs and the New England Patriots have the next best odds at 9/2.
Hopkins is under contract with the Arizona Cardinals through 2025. But there's a strong chance the franchise trades him. They could also release him and face a dead cap hit of just $22 million.

Hopkins turns 31 this summer. And he's not the same guy that reached four straight Pro Bowls from 2017 to 2020.
But that's mostly because he's dealt with injuries the last two seasons. When healthy, he's still one of the best route runners in the NFL. And he has great hands.
If Green Bay signs or trades for Hopkins, it would signal that a rebuild in 2023 isn't in the works. That would likely mean that Aaron Rodgers (unless he decides to retire) plays for the Packers next season as well.
It's still a bit early in the offseason to know what path the Packers will take. Green Bay will almost certainly figure out what Rodgers is going to do before making any major moves. Hopkins, however, is still a name to watch.
