The Green Bay Packers world is fixed on the quarterback position. From Aaron Rodgers and his future, as well as potentially Jordan Love.

Many questions this off-season that likely won't be answered until at least April. In time for the NFL Draft.

Despite the future of Rodgers in question, another long-time franchise great isn't going anywhere.

38-year-old K Mason Crosby is set to hit free agency this off-season. However, he is making it clear that he is not done yet.

"I still want to keep playing. I don’t have any plans on tying them up. So my plan is to just kind of keep pushing, and kind of look at how I want to work through the offseason to try to give it another go.”

However, that doesn't guarantee that he will be back with the Packers to do so.

Crosby has played his entire 16 years (258 regular season games) in Green Bay. He is the franchise leader in career points scored (1,918) with a number of memorable kicks to his name.

However recently, he hasn't looked as automatic as he once was. Crosby is 79.4% from field goals in the last two seasons after making 100% FG's in 2020, despite only averaging one attempt per game.

The Green Bay Packers could look elsewhere for kicking services, opting for a 'youth movement' as part of the team-building following the anticipated fallout from QB limbo.

Re-signing Crosby won't cost too much, having completed a $12 million extension from over the past three seasons.

If the Packers do decide to move on, it's clear. The mentality is to continue to accumulate they young talent, but at every level.

Position notwithstanding.
