Maybe. It's hard to know what Green Bay's front office will do and what other front offices will do. The Packers can't force a trade that isn't there.
One trade opportunity that might be there, however, is a deal for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler believes the Packers will look to make a move for a wide receiver (based on talk he's heard from opposing general managers). And Claypool is a player he thinks could interest Green Bay.
A few general managers I've spoken to are certain Green Bay is looking for potential receiver help on the trade market. One player who makes sense is Pittsburgh's Chase Claypool, who multiple execs believe was available in the preseason, though at a hefty price.
Claypool is coming off a big seven-catch, 96-yard game to get back on track, so perhaps that makes him more attractive for the Steelers to keep. The rumors of his availability have persisted for a while now, though. He's a major talent whose production has declined in each of the past two years.

Claypool looked like he was on his way to stardom after catching 62 passes for 873 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie in 2020. But Claypool hasn't matched that level of production in 2021 and the current 2022 season.
That's mostly because there hasn't been a good quarterback situation in Pittsburgh the last two seasons (an aging Ben Roethlisberger, a retread in Mitch Trubsiky and a rookie in Kenny Pickett aren't ideal for any wide receiver).
Claypool is under contract through 2023, but he'll be looking to get paid like other wide receivers have the last seven months.
The Packers could trade for him and it would essentially be a "tryout" for an extension. And if it works out, it might convince Rodgers to stick around a little longer.
(By the way, if you're wondering why the Steelers would trade Claypool, it's because they already extended Diontae Johnson and they have George Pickens on a rookie deal. There's no reason for them to extend Claypool so they might as well trade him.)
There's no doubt that Green Bay has to get some wide receiver help. The offense with its current personnel is sputtering. The Packers need a spark. Claypool showed last week with his seven receptions for 96 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that he can be a big-game player. He could absolutely help bring a more dynamic element to the Packers' offense.
