Jordan Love might not be 100%, but he is gonna try. According to reports from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Green Bay Packers quarterback is expected to play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, only one week after injuring his groin against the Jacksonville Jaguars in week 8.

According to Pelissero, there haven’t been any surprises or setbacks during the week, which means Love will be able to follow the plan established when exams showed on Monday that the quarterback has just a groin strain.

Jordan Love has missed two games this season, against the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans in weeks 2 and 3, because of an MCL injury. He also missed the second half against the Jaguars because of this groin injury. The Packers won these three games (or two and a half, if you want to say it this way) with backup Malik Willis at quarterback.

So far this season, Jordan Love has completed 61.7% of his passes for 1,547 yards, 15 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, a 91.8 passer rating.

The Packers still have other injury issues ahead of the big matchup against the Detroit Lions. Cornerbacks Jaire Alexander (knee) and Corey Ballentine (ankle), plus running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) are all questionable. Center Josh Myers (wrist) is listed as doubtful, and rookie safety Evan Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out.
