Everyone seems to think the Green Bay Packers will sign another wide receiver before the start of the 2022 season.

But who will it be? Who would be a good fit in Green Bay?

CBS Sports seems to think it could be free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Tyler Sullivan, an NFL writer for CBS Sports, recently named the ideal fits for top remaining free agents and he thinks OBJ and Green Bay would be a good match.

From CBS Sports:

Green Bay made a push to sign Beckham after he was released by the Browns last season, but the wideout ultimately decided to ink a deal with the Rams. Beckham has since helped L.A. win Super Bowl LVI, while the Packers' need at wide receiver has only increased following the blockbuster trade that sent Davante Adams to Las Vegas. Beckham tearing his ACL in the midst of the Super Bowl has derailed his free agency some, but the Packers could be a team that is fine with only getting Beckham for the second half of the year considering their lack of depth at receiver. Currently, Sammy Watkins, Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and rookie Christian Watson make up the top half of the depth chart.

This could be a great move for the Packers.

Beckham tore his ACL in the Los Angeles Rams' win against the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl, so he won't be ready to go until likely November or December.

But upon his return to the field, he could be another weapon for Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. OBJ is exactly the type of veteran presence Green Bay could use during a playoff run — especially with Davante Adams no longer on the roster.

The Packers shouldn't have any issues making the playoffs in 2022 so they can afford to wait on OBJ.

A one-year deal would make sense for both parties. If all goes well, maybe they can work out an extension after the 2022 season.
