Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had no issue pointing fingers last week at several unnamed teammates.

Rodgers bemoaned "mental mistakes" that are being made by certain players.

After Green Bay's 27-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, Rodgers should be pointing a finger at himself.

Early in the fourth quarter, during a pivotal point in the game when the Packers absolutely had to get points, Green Bay faced a fourth-and-one in Bills territory.

Buffalo loaded the box, which normally would result in Rodgers making a check at the line or possibly calling a timeout.

Instead, Rodgers went with the run play that was called and it was stuffed for a loss.

The Packers wasted a golden opportunity there. Green Bay could've got right back in the game with a touchdown.

But instead, they had to settle for 0 points.

That's on Rodgers. He's a future Hall of Famer for a reason. You expect him to recognize what the defense is doing in that situation (and Buffalo really made it easy on him) and get the Packers into a better play.

It's time for Rodgers to take some blame. He's not playing at a high level right now. And he's not making his teammates better. Rodgers needs to figure out the mental side of things just as badly as everyone else. And if he wants to point fingers, he needs to start with himself.
