It's hard to find a place with more football aura than Lambeau Field. And it will be especially meaningful and representative at the end of April, when the NFL Draft will happen in Green Bay for the first time ever.

On Thursday, the NFL released renderings of what the draft will look like around Lambeau, and it's an inspiring view. The event will be held between April 24 and 26.

The draft theater is going to be right around the stadium, close to the Lambeau Field Atrium, on the stadium's east and northeast sides.

"It's exciting to see these renderings. The draft is really starting to take shape," Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy said via Packers.com. "It looks like a great setup. All fans and attendees will be treated to an exciting event, and we're proud to have Lambeau Field featured so prominently."

According to the Packers, the viewing area of the draft theater will encompass 250,000 square feet. There will also be an 800,000 square-foot area for the NFL Experience.

"The visual of the draft campus really brings to life all the planning and discussions that have taken place over the past couple years," mentioned Gabrielle Dow, Packers vice president of marketing and fan engagement. "I'm excited for draft fans and everyone who has been working on this to see what Lambeau Field will look like come April."

The draft rotated between New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia for a long time, with a few exceptions, and it was exclusively in New York from 1964 through 2014. Since the NFL started to rotate cities in 2015, it has happened in Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Nashville, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Kansas City, and Detroit.

This will actually be the second time the state of Wisconsin receives the draft. In 1940, the event was at the Schroeder Hotel in Milwaukee.
