Green Bay Packers second-year defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt suffered a knee injury in the first half of the game against the Denver Broncos. He left the game and later was carted to the locker room. Officially, the Packers immediately announced he was questionable to return, and during halftime he was declared out.

Wyatt was a first-round pick for the Packers in 2022. He didn't play much as a rookie, but his role increased significantly this year, after the Packers let veterans Dean Lowry and Jarran Reed walk in free agency.

It's still unclear how severe the injury is, but that might be a serious problem for a Packers defense that is already struggling to dominate upfront.

Without him, rookies Karl Brooks and Colby Wooden are expected to have more snaps.

Green Bay’s defense are already missing cornerback Jaire Alexander (back) and off-ball linebacker De’Vondre Campbell (ankle), who were inactive in Denver.

Darnell Savage (calf) and Eric Stokes (hamstring) were also declared out during halftime.
