The Green Bay Packers didn't have any original Pro Bowlers. No one from the offense or defense was named to the All-Pro — the only selection was kick returner Keisean Nixon. Matt LaFleur wasn't in the top 5 for the head coach of the year award, and general manager Brian Gutekunst wasn't the executive of the year.

Well, the NFL has finally (kind of) recognized someone from the Packers. Defensive tackle Kenny Clark has been named to the Pro Bowl Games, the league announced on Tuesday.

Clark actually replaces San Francisco 49ers' defensive tackle Javon Hargrave, who can't participate in the Pro Bowl since the Niners are preparing for the Super Bowl a week later.

This is the third time in his NFL career that Kenny Clark makes a trip to the Pro Bowl. He was an original selection once, in 2021. He was an alternate selection in 2019, as well — he was also named an alternate in 2018, but wasn't called to play.

Clark started all 17 regular season games for the Packers in 2023. He had a career-best 7.5 sacks — third on the team, just behind Rashan Gary and Preston Smith. He had 16 quarterback hits. According to PFF, Clark had an above average 68.8 defensive grade — including a 74.4 pass rush grade and 61 total pressures.

On the original NFC team, the starting defensive tackles would be Los Angeles Rams' Aaron Donald and New York Giants' Dexter Lawrence. Hargrave was the backup. However, Donald elected not to play because of injury, and Hargrave is in the Super Bowl. With that, Clark and Carolina Panthers' Derrick Brown were named.
